Happy Birthday Daddyman! Double Nickel!

There are few people who love the great outdoors like my dad does. Because this is the case, we though what better place to have his birthday dinner than the great outdoors?! We spent the double nickel evening with tin foil dinners, a delicious cake, a few marshmallows, a cave exploration and great birthday present surprises.

Steve was great at tending the fire. I have never seen such perfect hot coals in my entire life! I was a little bit worried about Raegan being so close to the fast deep river, but she is such a social little girl that I don't even think she noticed that the river was there. Mom managed to get the ice cream (to go with the cake) up to the camp site and pack it with so much ice it actually was cold when we ate it a few hours later. Carsen and Raegan made dad the coolest marshmallow/hotdog stick roasters! Perfect in length, design and durability. Dad let us all try them out.

Happy Double Nickel Birthday Daddyman! Thanks for letting us share your special day in a special place with you.
