Happy 3rd! Uh...I mean 4th!
We had a relaxing 3rd of July 4th of July Celebration! Melissa made us this really cool cake that when you cut into it, was shaped like an American Flag! We had a fun BBQ in our backyard with my parents and GP ("Grandma Pat"). Then, we put on our roller blades (or as my niece calls them, "Blader Skates") and put Daniel in the stroller and went to GPs backyard where we had a killer uninterrupted view of the Sugarhouse fireworks. It was a nice 4th. I think Daniel enjoyed his first 4th....even though he slept through the majority of the celebration.

Whaa? How did she do that with the cake?
Wow. Did she use any sort of special pan to bake the different colors of cake?
