Christmas Festivities!

Mike had an awesome Christmas! It was so great to have the entire family home. In the morning, we stopped by the Garffs to deliver presents and partake of the Christmas Tree. Then, we went to our Hilltop Home where we met the entire family for a day of fun. Mom made her famous French style Hot Chocolate (amazing) and dad made this amazing Filet Minion wrapped in pastry and marinated in Raspberry Chipotle.

Luckily, during the day it was just windy enough for Mike and Steve to test out the kite we gave Steve and Melissa for Chrsitmas. The kids spent most of the day on the Lego Table that dad made for Carsen. Raeggie really liked putting the doll we gave her to bed in the cradle that Dad made for her. Even our new Bunny came over to celebrate (my mom calls her the "Grand Bunny"). We all watched VeggieTale's Lord of the Bean at least twice (great suggestion, Alex!). That night, a HUGE storm came in and Mike and I got snowed in. SO we had an awesome Christmas sleepover by the fire and the chrsitmas tree (that makes it sound dangerous, don't worry they were far apart). It was great to be a little girl again. This was one of the best Christmases I can remember - mostly because we were just all together.

Enjoy these pictures for now. There are more coming - inlcuding photos of the notorious Pig's Head that Patricia and Patrick brought to dinner (yes - they brought a REAL nastly pig's head, ears, eye balls, hairy nose and all to dinner. Long story for another blog. I'm sure that the anticipation is killing you).

The Christmas Tree

Steve and Melissa's Kite. Notice Mike's PJs?

Steve is a kite-flyer-extrodinaire.
He got it really high and was able to keep it in the sky!

I made April a scarf for Christmas.
Here's a photo of it. I was really happy with how it turned out.
