Fresh Granola

On Sunday, we made home made granola. Fresh granola is so much better than the store bought stuff! I got this recipe a few years ago from my friend, Kerry Florez.

8 Cups Rolled Oats (Oatmeal)
4 Cups Shredded or Shaved Coconut
2 Cups Chopped Almonds
1 Cup Canola Oil
1 Cup Maple Syrup

Simply mix everything together in one sticky mess, and toast it on a sprayed cookie sheet for about 20 minutes at 350degrees. Sometimes after toasting for 20 minutes, you might want to stir around your granola and toast it some more. Let it cool before you stick it in zip lock bags. Enjoy!
